We are currently finalizing our new web site. That was a long process, because it concerns something more than a new jacket. Not only will soon all our YouTube videos be directly viewable from our web site, but we have also neatly arranged all our books and newsletters so that everyone can read or order them. Perhaps the most important thing is that we have also set up a completely new web site for our Brickz, which we will therefore put on the market as an independent product. At the beginning of June the website will be launched and of course we will inform everyone about it.

We have started a collaboration with the Schoonste Lusthof regarding the analysis of soils for proper soil management for public greenery and trees (https://natuurpro.nl/blog/partner/de-schoonste-lusthof/). Senior researcher Diederik Visser will take on this task.

We are making great progress in our collaboration with Veolia to realize a phytorefinery at the IPKW business park. This will be done in the form of a joint venture. The good news is that we are going to start a project to check whether we can collect CO2 from companies on the site, which we will lead to the greenhouse and use to allow the trees that we will grow here to grow better (and therefore CO2 at the same time). to be determined).

In Naaldwijk we have set up the production line for the phyto refinery and we will start operations in the last week of May. With our partners Jac. We have agreed with Van Zeijl & Znn and Grondbank GMG that we will organize an open day for interested parties in September, so we will be working hard on that during the summer months. Finally, we also included a beautiful Leaf Green. This time it is about the need to develop more wilderness nature in the form of large robust nature areas in order to also contribute to solving the nitrogen crisis. Because let’s be clear; we have to work on reducing nitrogen emissions, but part of the problem is also that we have designated many (too) small nature areas in the context of Natura 2000, but above all that Dutch nature conservation still works too much with targets based on ecological disaster landscapes from 1900. It is the legacy of an outdated nature conservation policy based on the misunderstanding that everything was better in the past and that we have to get rid of quickly if we want to save not only nature, but also nature conservation.
