The planting season is coming to an end. So the last load of Brickz and beeches for the Koninklijke Ginkelgroep is ready to be picked up, together with the last beeches. In the meantime, we are busy completing the book ‘With the flow’ about fluvial mining and how our river landscape can contribute to the issue of scarce raw materials. The assignment comes from the Zeeland University of Applied Sciences and the book will be published in June.
We have also received the first physical copies of ‘Outside is simply better’ and the book – which deals with the economic health benefits of national parks – is now actually for sale in our online bookstore. We have new orders for developing an alliance in the field of biobased construction on behalf of Joachim Geerdink. Also new is the assignment we have received from Fieldlab Eemvallei to explore the possibilities for land consolidation 2.0 in the area.
Summer is still in full swing, but we are already working on this year’s Green Christmas Lecture, which will be about nature and health. Naturally, we do this together with partners with whom we have been working for years, such as the Koepelkerk, Nature for Health, the Koninklijke Ginkelgroep and Nine Pixels. The collaboration with the IVN is new and we are looking forward to it.
In the meantime, Tom Bade continues to work as a landscape advisor in Flevoland. In short, everything is running smoothly and we are not burdening ourselves too much. And that brings us to the new Leaf Green that we have created, because it is about the relationship between environmental impact and environmental impact and is very fascinating.
