A contract is being carried out for the province of Brabant to produce Brickz for VanTosse Farm and the Forest Group South. This was the first pilot where Brickz were made for the cultivation of hops, barley and pine respectively. The supplier of the river sediment is K3 Delta, a regular partner in terms of Brickz production.
Commissioned by Waterwegen en Zeekanaal, the benefits were mapped for the Flemish Government for the ‘De Polders Van Kruibeke’ project. This is one of the most progressive nature development projects in Flanders, where – analogous to ‘Room for the River’ – nature in the floodplains is being developed in connection with more room for the river.
